Every site has values whether it admits them or not. Here are mine, said out loud.

Who this is for
This is a place for people who got told “not like that” and did it anyway. Self-taught folks. People locked out of a field who taught themselves through the window. Queer and trans people in STEM. Anyone who ever passed the exam and still didn’t get the job.
Where we stand
- Pro-trans. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. This isn’t up for debate on my website.
- Pro-queer. Gay, lesbian, bi, everyone under the rainbow — welcome, celebrated, no asterisks.
- Pro-Palestine. Free Palestine.
- Anti-fascist. Anti-Nazi, full stop. There is no “both sides” here.
- Anti-Trump. No.
- Anti-corporate. The system that gatekeeps knowledge and locks people out of good work is not my friend.
- Anti-philistine. Make things. Care about things. Don’t be a bore who sneers at people who create.
On AI
I don’t love AI. I think a lot of it is corporate slop dressed up as progress. But it’s here, and pretending otherwise doesn’t help anyone. So I use it as a tool where it’s useful, and I’m ruthlessly honest about when I do. Every post here is labeled: written by me, written with AI help, or an AI draft I haven’t made mine yet. You always get to know whose voice you’re reading.
The punk part
Do it yourself. Don’t wait for permission. Don’t trust the gate, build a window. Share what you learn so the next person doesn’t have to claw as hard as you did.
That’s it. That’s the site.
